The Chinese American Community Association

The CCBA is the oldest community organization in Chinatown. It has performed a quasi-governmental role in the community. It has also helped Chinese Americans achieve business ownership. It has even supported the naturalization process.

The CSAUS promotes operational coordination and exchange between its member schools. Its goal is to help Chinese students become integrated into mainstream culture.

CCBA

The CCBA is an organization that advocates for the Chinese community and promotes Chinese culture. It also provides social services to its members. Its mission is to integrate the Chinese community into mainstream American society. Its activities include a Chinese language school, youth programs, and English classes. It also holds a variety of events that showcase the community’s cultural pride and celebrate its heritage.

CCBA is governed by the Board of Directors and the general membership. Each member association has its own representative on the Board of Directors. The Hoy Sun Ning Yung Benevolent Association has the most seats on the board, followed by Sue Hing, Hop Wo, Yan Wo, Sam Yup, and Yeong Wo.

CCBA’s top priority is public safety, and it has been doing its part to keep Chinatown safe. It regularly hosts seminars on different topics of safety. It also lobbies City departments and agencies to solve ongoing issues that affect the Chinatown community.

CSAUS

The CSAUS has a number of activities and programs that help members maintain their cultural pride. These events include Chinese New Year dinners/dances that benefit the scholarship fund, community picnics and monthly newsletters. The association also helps members find jobs and start their own businesses, and provides social services to those in need. It has also hosted several delegations between the United States and China to promote business, economics, trade, culture, and education.

The board members of the CSAUS are all volunteers, and they devote their time, expertise and skills to help promote the Chinese language education. They have coordinated many nationwide projects such as advocating a new Chinese textbook series (the “Zhongwen” North America edition), language evaluation tests and large-scale projects in bridging friendship among children in the US and in China.

Membership in CSAUS is open to all schools, students and teachers who are interested in learning the Chinese language. There are over 400 schools in the CSAUS, and they serve thousands of families throughout the country.

NACA Atlanta

NACA’s counselors also help people get rental assistance. This includes counseling on finding a rental unit, understanding the eviction process and connecting with housing resources for low to moderate-income tenants. They can also connect renters to legal aide agencies, as well as referrals for emergency housing or homelessness prevention services.

NACA also helps those with Section 8 housing choice vouchers buy a house using their previous payments. This has become a huge part of their business, and it’s something that they want to expand in the future.

NACA organizes and sponsors activities that promote cordial relationships between China and the United States. It also provides education to students and professional school staff. Its programs focus on leadership, multiculturalism, and campus organization. There are also educational sessions that address the latest trends in higher education.
